Candidate Profile & Eligibility
Audience: Primarily intended for individuals designated with the responsibility of an Advanced Workplace First Aid Attendant. This certification is also frequently approved for pre-hospital Medical First Responders in various jurisdictions.
Prerequisites: Participants must hold a current certification in Standard First Aid with CPR level C.
Course Delivery:
Time: 80 hours
Format: Instructor-led, in-class.
Renewal: A current Intermediate Standard First Aid/Level C CPR certificate is required for the Advanced First Aid Renewal Course (40 hours).
Certification Requirements
To successfully complete the course and receive your 3-year digital Advanced First Aid certification, you must:
Attend and participate in 100% of the course hours.
Successfully demonstrate all required practical skills.
Achieve a minimum mark of 75% on the written, closed-book, knowledge evaluation.
Successfully complete two evaluated scenarios (one medical and one trauma).
