This two-day, comprehensive program meets or exceeds the Intermediate workplace requirements (including CSA Standard Z1210), giving you the certified skills demanded by industry and the confidence to handle real-life scenarios.
What You'll Master
Our instruction focuses on a realistic, hands-on approach that ensures your training "kicks in" when you need it most. You will gain mastery over crucial life-saving techniques, including:
Emergency Action: Learn to prioritize and execute the Check, Call, Care system with speed and efficiency.
The Power to Restart a Heart: Comprehensive CPR Level A or C (Adult, Child, and/or Infant) and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Controlling the Crisis: Expert techniques for managing severe bleeding, stabilizing broken bones, and treating injuries to the head, neck, and spine.
Medical Emergencies: Recognizing and providing care for sudden illnesses like diabetic emergencies, seizures, and stroke.
Environmental Hazards: Dealing with injuries related to heat, cold, and burns.
Your Certification
Successfully complete our in-class practical assessment and knowledge evaluation to earn a 3-year Canadian Red Cross Intermediate First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
